Steve is the Product Management Director for the USAA Educational Foundation, where he leads the strategy, development, and production of branded and white-labeled financial education products serving the military community. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Product Manager (CPM), he oversees the Foundation’s full portfolio of financial education initiatives, including digital learning experiences, interactive tools, and enterprise learning management programs.
He directs the Foundation’s Learning Management System strategy, supporting college-accredited courses, emergency financial assistance education programs, and continuing education offerings for financial professionals. Steve has received six Telly Awards® for excellence in financial education video production.
Before joining the Foundation, Steve spent more than 15 years in financial planning roles at USAA, specializing in nationwide planning for affluent clients and training wealth management advisors.
Raised in an Army family, Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He also holds the Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP) designation through the National Diversity Council.
